Riperian Planning day

22 May 2017 10:30 a.m.  -  1:30 p.m.

Posted by Jane Worthington

Location: Wellsford Community Centre

Type: Workshop

Status: Confirmed

Is water quality on your mind, do you want to prepare for farming with limits and do you want to do something to help your farm? If you answered “yes” to any of those questions, come along to a free training day in riparian practices. Learn more about the new award-winning, Riparian Planner, an easy tool for farmers to use to map out their farm and decide on what actions you want to do that will help water quality improve.
The day is aimed at Kaipara farmers but any are welcome to learn – DairyNZ, Beef & Lamb NZ and the Integrated Kaipara Harbour Management Group will be on hand to help.
You’ll come away trained in the free online tool and with a plan you can work on to prepare you for farming with water quality limits.
Please bring your laptop and lunch.
Coffee and tea and some refreshments will be provided.
No registration needed, just turn up.
